Talking about weather with Americans is a great way to start a conversation.Espically if the weather has been crazy lately. Crazy weather huh? Oh yeah , I can't believe how much snow we got. 近几天，北京地区的小伙伴们相信都沉浸在了同一种感觉当中： 明明上个周末还只需要套个外套，这几天我却恨不得把羽绒服都掏出来！面对骤降的温度，我最近拿出手机看天气预报的频率呈指数上升。这时，好学（Bu Yao Lian）的我突然想到了一个问题：当我们在冬天或夏天彼此哀叹“冷哭了”、“热死了”的时候，大洋那边的外国人又如何谈论自己国家的天气呢？本期，我就带大家来看看如何用英文来谈论天气。 一、常见表达 对刚入冬的我们来说，这个说法实在太应景了。外国人会怎么表达“冷”呢？ 1) It's freezing. 这个说法，恐怕就是“冷死了”的对应版了吧。 2) You can see your breath. “你能看见自己呼出来的白气。”这个表达很形象。等天气再冷一点，我们也能看见“白气”时，不妨在你的朋友面前说一句。 3) You'll need to bundle up. “你得把自己裹起来。”该说法和汉语里的表达相近，也恰好说出了我最近的心声。 4) It's a bit chilly. “有点儿凉。”比起上面三个，这个说法温和了不少，可用于描述秋天的天气，尤其是秋日早上。 冷天和雨天要是碰到一起，杀伤力可就太大了。想象一下，当你在冬日早晨好不容易爬出被窝，却看到窗外天色阴沉，还下着雨，那心情该有多郁闷。 1) It's drizzling at the moment. “现在下着小雨。”“drizzle”就是绵绵细雨。 2) It's splitting. 这个说法比上一个还轻，指的并非真正下雨，而是偶尔有些零星的雨点而已。 3) The heavens open. 4) It's chucking it down. 这两个表达形容的都是特别大的雨。相信“It's raining cats and dogs”这个说法很多小伙伴们已经会了，现在可以更新一下自己的语料库啦。 再过一段时间，北方的小伙伴们应该都能看见这种景象了吧。来看看除了“It's snowing”之外还有什么说法。 1) There's a bit of frost on the ground. “地上结了些霜。”这是冬日早晨常见的情景。 2) There has been a flurry of snow. “下过一阵子小雪。” 3) It's below freezing. “现在温度是零度以下。” 4) The snow will turn into a blizzard. “雪会更大，要下暴风雪了。”大名鼎鼎的“暴雪”游戏公司就叫“Blizzard”。 1) It's very overcast and dark overhead. “天色很阴沉。”有一句流传很广的歌词说要学会经历晴天阴天下雨天，现在阴天会说了吧。 2) There's a storm brewing. 3) I can see lightning. 4) I can hear thunder. “暴风雨快来啦！有闪电，有雷暴，快收衣服啦！”（《大话西游》罗家英语气） 5) The wind picks up. It's almost a gale. “风越刮越大了。”“gale”就是“大风、狂风”，“九级风”就是“strong gale”。 经历了风吹雨打，我们终于迎来了晴天。来看看老外怎么说。 1) There isn't a cloud in the sky. “天上一朵云也没有”。看到这个说法，我想到了那个颇有气势的词：万里无云。 2) It is baking hot. “天气很炎热。”“bake”就是“烤、烘焙（面包、点心等）”，是不是很形象？ 3) It's completely still. “一点风也没有。” 4) It's a scorcher today. 5) It's boiling. 这两个表达都是形容极热的天气，和“baking hot”不相上下，甚至更热，可以说是“热死了”的对应版了。 二、发起会话 上面我们了解了一些关于天气的英文表达。不过细心的同学可能会发现一个问题：这些都是谈话发起后做出的描述或回答。那么，如果要询问别人天气如何，又该怎么说呢？别着急，我这就带大家来看看常见的问天气说法。 1. How's the weather? 2. What's it like out/outside? 这两个可以说是最常见的问法了，我觉得可以把它们分为通用版的“天气怎么样？”和接地气版的“天儿咋样啊？” 3. Do you have rain? “你那边下雨了吗？”这句话不光可以问天气，也能用来做伤心情歌的歌词。 4. What's the temperature today/there? “今天/你那边几度？” 5. Beautiful day, huh（isn't it）? “今天天儿不错哈（是吧）？”这句可以说是寒暄的常用语了。 6. What's the weather forecast? “天气预报怎么说？” 7.
