At first I intended to go out with my classmates.因为此处的“原来”实际上指的是“一开始”计划是这样的。所以,用at first就可以了。跟同学出去玩,直接用go out with my classmates就可以表示出来了。不用单独再加上to play with my classmates.

planning to do +STH这就可以表达你的意思了
可以用副词 originally 表示本来本来打算做 originally intend to do sth
