都江堰英语纪录片

四川之所以被称为“天府之国”，就是因为有都江堰；川西平原几千年来“水旱从人，不知饥馑”的富足状况，也是因为有了都江堰。这个都江堰为何有如此神力？

2250年前，秦国郡守李冰总结了前人治水的经验，主持修成了这座既具民族特色，又有划时代意义的水利工程。包括以“分鱼嘴”、“飞沙堰”、“宝瓶口”有机组成的渠首工程和庞大的渠系工程。灌溉面积已从新中国成立前的300万亩，发展到今天的1003万亩。

1994年4月5日，历史上最隆重古老神秘的放水仪式，在四川省政府与水利部的主持下在此举行，10多位身着古装的砍缆工斧落绳断，岷江水咆哮奔腾狂泻而下，向川西平原的千里沃野流去。

配有英语解说的科教片《都江堰》，让几位欧洲客人对这座水利工程有了全面的了解。走出电影放映室，随行的李存修不无感慨地对皮尔·卡丹说：“今天的皮尔·卡丹先生来参观李冰建造的水利工程，可惜2000年前的郡守李冰不能穿到您设计的服装了。”

卡丹突然停下脚步，若有所思，他说：“这就是历史，我们都会变成历史人物，不过，李冰是位伟大的历史人物，在那时，人们最重要的是吃饭和生活保障。”

现在，原来的平台上建起了一座高大的古式建筑，分两层，名为“秦观楼”。

秦观楼内，视野开阔，凉风阵阵，令游人也不觉神清气爽，看脚下岷江流水，观远处都江堰工程雄姿，皮尔·卡丹不禁思绪万千，大发感慨：“我早就从中国飞檐翘壁的古建筑艺术中受到过启迪，产生过灵感，并使这种灵感进入了我的时装设计。

“都江堰，又给了我一种新的感悟：这是一项伟大的水利工程，同时又是一件高超的水利艺术作品。你们看，它自然、流畅、无造作，一切顺其自然，利用大自然自身的规律，完成了这部历史大作，李冰真是位了不起的东方艺术家。”

后人对李冰的评价很多。皮尔·卡丹将其视为艺术家，这在以前倒是绝无仅有的。
