一、 用作及物动词的helphelp用作及物动词,其意为“帮助”,常用于以下三种句式：1.help to do sth.意为“帮助做某事”.【情景例句】Could you help to open the window?你能帮忙打开窗子吗?2.help sb.to do sth.意为“帮助某人做某事”,其中,不定式符号to可以省略.【情景例句】He often helps me to study English./ He often helps me study English.他经常帮助我学习英语.3.help sb.with sth.意为“帮助某人做某事”或“在……方面帮助某人”.有时在上下文意思清楚时,与help sb.(to) do sth.意思相近.【情景例句】You can help me carry the things./ You can help me with the things.你可以帮我拿这些东西.二、 习惯句式中的help【情景例句】Could you help me,please?你能帮助我吗?May I help you?/ Can I help you?三、 习惯用语中的help1.help oneself (to) +名词,意为“请随便吃……”.这是招待客人的常用语,oneself有人称和数的变化.【情景例句】Help yourself to some chicken.请随便吃些鸡肉.2.with the help of sb.或 with one's help 意为“在某人的帮助下”.这里的with不可用under来代替.【情景例句】With the help of my teacher,I can pass the exam./ With my teacher's help,I can pass theexam.在老师的帮助下,我能通过这次考试

讲到度过某个困难的时刻，或许你的直觉反应是要用 pass 或是 overcome，但是另外还有一个你想不太到的说法：get through 或是 pass through。例如有一次我搭一个老美的车因超速被警察拦下来，他就很紧张地说：How can we get through this? (结果最后他还是无助地被警察伯伯开了一张罚单。) 或是当有人遭逢不幸时，你也可以安慰人家说：No matter what's going to happen, we will get through this hard time together.(不管再来会发生什么事，我们都要一起度过难关。)注意一下如果你要讲的是你已经遭遇过的事情，则过去式 got through 和完成式 have been through 都可以用。例如期末考好不容易结束了，你可以松口气说：I'm so glad I got through finals week. (我很高兴终于考完了。) 或是 I'm so glad I have been through finals week. ，强调已经考完了。)2. We have to work this problem out by tomorrow.我们必须在明天之前解决这个问题。讲到 work out 这个动词片语，它在英文里的用法可是千变万化的。首先，解决问题，老美除了说 solve 之外，也超爱用 work out，所以解决一个问题你不但可以说 solve a problem，还可以说 work a problem out。不过有时候还要看看上下文的意思，如果我说：Let's work out some plans for the holiday.这里的 work out 翻成解决当然不太恰当，所以你可以把它翻成做出来。整句的意思就是让我们为假期拟定一些计划。其实 work out 不单单可以表示解决(solve) 或是做出来的意思，它还可以代表成功(succeed)。例如你写了一个程序，但你不知道能不能成功地执行，你就可以说I don't know if this program is gonna work out. (我不知道这个程序会不会成功)。或是男女朋友交往，但你觉得你们俩个人不可能有结果，这句话就是I don't feel this relationship is gonna work out.当然啦, 许多人都知道 work out 还可以表示运动 (exercise) ，但通常是指在健身房所做的运动，所以从这里不难看出老美其实很喜欢用一些很简单的词，例如 work out 就可以用来替换比较难的 solve 或是 succeed，这也算是美国口语上的一种趋势吧!（改编自学英语笔记本 英语点津 Annabel 编辑）

He helped the patient out of the hospital. 他搀扶病人走出了医院.

Can you help the patient into the hospital ? 你能搀扶病人进医院吗?

5. help sb. out 帮助某人克服困难,渡过难关、解决问题、完成工作.

When I'm in trouble, he always helps me out with money. 每当我处境困难时,他总是用金钱帮助我渡过难关.

help的四种用法如下。1、help用作动词的基本意思是“帮助”“援助”，即为他人提供所需或向某结果〔目的〕推进。引申可表示“有助〔利〕于”“救治”“克〔抑〕制”等。2、help既可用作不及物动词，也可用作及物动词。用作及物动词时，可接名词、代词或动词不定式作宾语，也可接以动词不定式充当补足语的复合宾语。接动词不定式作宾语或宾语补足语时，to常可省略，但用于被动结构时，to则不能省。help用作不及物动词时常表示“有用”“有帮助”。3、help常常与否定词can't连用，表达的意思不同。can'thelpit的意思是“没有办法”“控制不了”；can'tbehelped的意思是“没有办法的事，只好这样”，can'thelpv-ing的意思是“禁不住做某事”“身不由己”，can'thelpbutto/-v的意思是“不得不做某事”，can'thelponeself的意思是“不能控制自己”“不能自拔”。4、notmorethanonecanhelp的意思是“能少尽量少”；helponeself的意思是“自取，自用”。
