译文
东海有勇妇，怎么会惭愧不如苏子卿呢？她向越女学剑，腾奔若流星。她不惜自己的生命，为夫报仇，即使死一万次也绝不后悔。连苍天都被她的真情所感动了。她身手不凡，十步两躞跃，三呼一交兵。她粲然明大义。

疾风知劲草，板荡识诚臣。
勇夫安识义，智者必怀仁。
译文
在猛烈狂疾的大风中才能看得出是不是强健挺拔的草，在激烈动荡的年代里才能识别出是不是忠贞不二的臣。
一勇之夫怎么懂得为公为国为民为社稷的正义的道理，而智勇兼具的人内心里必然怀有忠君为民的仁爱之情。

狡捷过猴猿，勇剽若豹螭。边城多警急，虏骑数迁移。

译文
他灵巧敏捷赛过猿猴，又勇猛轻疾如同豹螭。听说国家边境军情紧急，侵略者一次又一次进犯内地。告急信从北方频频传来，游侠儿催战马跃上高堤。随大军平匈奴直捣敌巢，再回师扫鲜卑驱逐敌骑。
上战场面对着刀山剑树，从不将安和危放在心里。连父母也不能孝顺服侍，更不能顾念那儿女妻子。名和姓既列上战士名册，早已经忘掉了个人私利。为国家解危难奋勇献身，看死亡就好像回归故里。
4、九歌·国殇
