Black Tiger Spring which is the second largest spring group in Jinan is located in the southeast corner of Huancheng Park of Jinan City. The earliest record of black tiger springs was seen in the "The Famous Spring Monument" of the Jin Dynasty. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, a black tiger temple was built on the top of the cave. In August 1931, the stone walls and short walls were built around and the three tiger heads were sprayed with water. The spring water emerges from the cave hole of 2 meters high above 27.88 meters height. It finally plunged into the moat through the sluices on the north bank of the pool, forming a spectacular white water curtain.
