My dad and I--we think alike

我的爸爸和我——我们心有灵犀，

He knows just what I mean

他知道我的意思

Before I even say a word

甚至在我一句话都没说时

He reads, well, in between.

他理解得非常好。

My dad and I--we like to fish

Or build a model plane,

Or fix a broken chair or two

God took the strength of a mountain,

The majesty of a tree,

树木的`庄严，

The warmth of a summer sun,

He knew his masterpiece was complete,

And He called it -- Dad.

我个人也是个诗集爱好者，买了许多诗集。个人感觉由陕西师范大学出版社出版，北京温林源印刷有限公司印刷，中国读书网鼎力推荐，收录的为中英文对照，翻译作品家为：新文化运动时候我国新文化运动的倡导者、建国后是新中国第一和第二届的全国政协委员、文化部副部长、国家文物局局长的郑振铎。（译的很好！）书中全部采用外国的黑白油画与宗教画。总的来说，这个版本的《泰戈尔诗集》很Good.！
