首先问世的是葡萄牙人在澳门创办的一批葡文报刊。

其中最早的是1822年9月创刊的葡萄牙执政党的机关报《蜜蜂华报》。这些葡文报刊多为葡萄牙不同政治派系所办，彼此斗争激烈，旋办旋停。继之而起的是英、美商人创办的一批英文报刊，广州有5种，澳门有1种。

其中影响最大的是英国鸦片商马地臣于1827年11月创办的《广州纪录报》，这是在华英文报刊的第1种。

美国人于1831年7月创办了他们在华的第1家英文报纸《中国差报与广州钞报》这些报纸主要刊登行情、船期和广告，也登中外新闻和言论。

《广州周报》注重刊载有关中国的材料，受到林则徐的重视该报于1836年10月13日发布的一期号外，是中国境内第1次出现的报纸号外这些报纸诬蔑中国人愚昧落后，批评清政府的闭关政策。

My favorite Sports is basketball. It looks so cool in TV that I was crazy about those basketball stars ever since I was little.
