Painting and Calligraphy Art
书画一词是东方几个少数的国家使用的词汇，中国是书画艺术的源地，“书”即指书法，“画”特指国画。我个人认为单纯的把书法译成calligraphy,国画译成painting有欠妥当。painting一般指西方的油画、水彩画，calligraphy 虽有书法的意思，但它特指美术字。因将它译成chinese handwritting and painting art.
