ceremony是指有一定区域限制的正式的典礼 比如女王加冕,婚礼festivity是指规模较大的范围较广的节日庆典 比如春节 festivity可以包含小的典礼 比如领导人致词什么的celebration指很小范围的庆祝会 比如生日, 结婚纪念日,高考考中什么

ceremony 指的是正式的仪式或典礼，如结婚典礼。anniversary是周年纪念日 是指值得纪念的某天。

ritual- 仪式， 宗教仪式， 祭祀。routine- 常规， 日常， 规律，条理

如果作为 例行公事;日常工作;惯例;惯常的程序 来讲的话，两个是一样的，基本上没有区别的但是ritual 有宗教仪式，礼仪的意思而 routine 则是日常的，常规的意思
