赏析：这是一首对爱的热情颂歌。诗人充分发挥了十四行诗的长处，采用了先抑后扬的手法，层层推进，波澜起伏，写出了思想感情发展变化的过程。

开头四句，先是感叹自己处境的悲惨，生不逢时，身世飘零。接着四句，进一步吐露自己的自卑感，同别人相比，处处觉得自惭形秽，自暴自弃，把怨天尤人，痛苦万状的情绪推到了极点。可是从第三段起，诗的情调骤变，诗人突然精神振奋，神采飞扬，一下子唱出了喜悦，明亮的欢歌：“顿时象破晓的云雀从阴郁的大地，冲上了天门”。为什么会发生这么大的变化呢？因为“想到了你”。是爱的魔力在扭转诗人心中的乾坤。最后，诗人豪迈地唱道：我记着你的甜爱，就是珍宝，教我不屑把处境跟帝王对调。两个警句，画龙点睛地总结了全篇，同开头构成鲜明的对照。诗人从消沉到振奋，从忧郁到欣喜，从自卑到自豪，这一系列的变化，全都说明了纯真的爱情能产生强大的鼓舞力量，给人带来勇气，信心和希望。这也正是这首诗的主题。
