condense根据牛津高阶词典的释义，“to make something that is spoken or written shorter, by not giving as much detail or using fewer words to give the same information”，有点取精华去细节的意思。
根据柯林斯词典，“If you condense something, especially a piece of writing or speech, you make it shorter, usually by including only the most important parts.”也有简化但是提取了重要部分的意思。
