1.Spring Festival ia a traditional Chinese festival at which people , however far they are away from , will get home to have a get-together just like the Christmastday in the western countries.So there is always a rush for shoping or traveling even a few days before it. I did the same --- that is I went home to celebrate it with my families.You can imagine how croweded the bus had been! Before the eve, we used to have a through cleaning of the whole house. We went shopping for a lot of decillious things. We prepared beancurd,killed pigs or cocks, adn a kind of pies made of rice.Every family prepared so many good foods as many as 20 or more than that.On the eve, we used to sit on the pine leaves to have our rich dinner, wathing the Spring AFestival Evening Party programmes on the CCTV .We remain stayed up far into the night. At 12:00 we set fire works to keep the sui or to frighten the monsters"nian", a kind of animal in the old saying. Later, on the 1st or the 2nd day , people used to visit their relatives or friends, sending their good blessing or greetings. The childen would be very glad for they could wear their best and new suits and were give some pocket money to buy what they wanted. I stay at home watching TV and video tapes which I had no time to watch. Then we had some relatives and usually serving them with sweets, fruits or dinners.People would not work until the 3rd day. 2.The Spring Festival is also the Chinese New Year. Every year, before the Spring Festival, people are very busy. They buy many foods to prepare for a big dinner with their families. If their families are outside the city, they will make travel plan to meet them. In the evening after dinner, people go out into the street and play fireworks and fire crackers. The Spring Festival is in the winter, so it’s cold. But I like Spring Festival very much. 3.Chinese New Year is coming.Of all the festivals,I like Chinese New Year best.At Chinese New Year's Eve We will have a special dinner together .Mun and Dad will give me a red packet with some money.
