Today is my birthday, so I got up early in the morning.

今天是我的生日，所以我一大早就起床了。

I invited a lot of people to my house to eat cake. I thought they would all come, but only a few people came in the end.

我邀请了好多人来我家吃蛋糕，本来以为他们都会来的，可是最后却只来了几个人。

Some others are still sleeping, some go out to play, and others are doing their homework.

We can't wait to celebrate our birthday.

Mom helped us open the cake and put in the candles. They sang birthday songs for me and wished me well.

After blowing out the candles, we ate the cake.

My birthday My mother told me that when I was born ,it was raining heavily.The city was suffered from the draught for months. It was my birthday which brought the good luck to the city. So I was given the name "Xia Zhenyu". On my first birthday,my parents bought me a lot of toys and took some beautiful photos for me. They kissed me again and again . They took me to some places. My birthday is on March 23th,I celebrate it every year with my family and my friends.Every year,I hold a little birthday party and invite my friends . We chat and play a lot of games together. The best part of it is that I love the birthday cake and the gifts I get from my parents and my friends. I also get some money on my birthday.I can buy what I want with the money.I have great fun on my birthdays,but on the other hand,I also understand that I am one year older after each birthday and that means I should be more responsible for myself and I should also my self-aware. I should understand more things and be less ignorant!Fianlly,I should be thankful for my parents,I know they have done their best in raising me up.
