从语法上说，raise是及物动词，后面一定要并且直接加宾语。 而rise是不及物动词，后面不能加宾语，from the chimney是介词词组，作状语。1.raise 提起，使升高 如：raise one's hand 举手2.rise 上升，升高，上涨，指有形的东西。如： The sun rises in the east.
不能连起来写，应该把三个词分开写作 rising of smoke，中间的介词 of 不重读，可参照音标谐音为“入阿艾森 呃物 思目欧克”。
