报名资格：主要对象分别是高等学校修完大学英语四级或六级的本科生;同等程度的大专生或硕士研究生;同等程度的夜大或函授大学学生;1987年后毕业需要补考的大学本科毕业生;参加过CET-4或CET-6考试未及格者，可以再次报名参加考试;凡已取得CET-4合格证书者不能再参加CET-4考试;凡已取得CET-6合格证书者不能再参加CET-6考试;注意事项:已设考点的学校的在校生不得跨校参加考试，一经查出，取消考试成绩;对需要补考的考生，由各省、自治区、直辖市总主考委托一、二所大学设置专门考点。
