not…but 应该是“不是……而是……”的意思。“a generation which would once only wear old-fashion clothes”是主语从句，“worn by those half their age”是补语，都可以先不看，这样句子结构就很清楚了，意思是：现在不是十几二十岁的女孩，而是六七十岁的妇女很喜欢the high street looks（high street是大街的意思，这大概是指一种穿衣风格吧。。）。加上从句和补语，意思就是：现在不是十几二十岁的女孩，而是一度只穿过时衣服的六七十岁的那一代妇女，很喜欢那些由只有她们一半年龄的人演绎的high street looks。
