Dear Diary:Today is the international Children's Day and I went volunteering at the Children’s Welfare Home with a couple of friends. And it was a day of hard but satisfying work.We arrived there very early, around half past seven. Then we were introduced to the supervisor, Ms Wang, who set us tasks. I was chosen to read books to the children at the Home, while my friend, Jie Zhang was asked to help tidy the rooms. I was happy since he children were all very cute and well behaved. We had lunch over there at one. And in the afternoon, I switched jobs with my friends. We went home at five o’clockAlthough I got home sweaty and tired. I still think it was an worthwhile experience as there are a lot of children out there who needs our help; and we, as responsible citizens, should help them.Goodnight, I feel really sleepy after a hard day’s work.Hua Li
