1. Beijing and ShanghaiBeijing and Shanghai share some similarities but also have differences. Beijing and Shanghai are both internationally recognized large cities. They both have advanced transportation systems, high population density and fast-paced life. Due to this high population density, both of the cities share a common problem, which is traffic jams. Especially during the peak time of travelling, cars usually move in a very slow speed. However, they are also very different in some aspects. Firstly, geographically, they are in different positions of China. So they have different climates, most of the time, Beijing is colder than Shanghai. Secondly, Beijing is an ancient city, so it has a classical environment; whereas Shanghai is more modern. Finally, Beijing is the Captial of China, it is the political centre while Shanghai is the economical centre of China.
