直到20世纪六十年代，随着李小龙的功夫片播放，及由香港著名咏春拳师梁挺将《梁挺咏春》发扬遍及至全球60多个国家，Kung fu、Wing tsun等在全球传播，“功夫”逐渐被传播开来。

中国功夫在世界上影响广泛，不仅出现了大量中国功夫题材的中外影视作品，更有少林、太极、咏春拳等中国功夫在全球广泛传扬。目前，在全国得到较全面保留与发扬的中国传统功夫。
