英语构词法总结

believe没有任何词缀附着在上面无法用构词法说明（加以说明）believe是没构词法的譬如：pre什么什么就代表在什么之前如：preview：预演（pre-view）view就是看（意思）pre(之前)+view（看）就是预演。这就是构词法。还有很多譬如：in-ex-com-等等……而在believe（相信——动词——名词为：belief）中无前缀或后缀，所以无构词的范式来理解。英语中有相当数量的词汇是在一些基本词或词根的基础上，加以前缀或后缀。如果你懂得前缀或后缀之意，基本词之意，哪读英文时就方便多啦！譬如你遇到forehead这词，而不懂其意，很简单。forehead中的head是头中的fore-是前缀fore-意思是先，前fore+head就是前头就是额头啦forehead=额头以此推类，只要记住一些基本前缀后缀，基本词你就可以大约猜出其意，当然，有些不清楚的要查字典啦！去网站搜搜，就有很多前缀后缀-ty-our-omy是一些基本后缀

学习英语的中国人通常认为掌握一门外语要过三关(语音关、词汇关、语法关)，斩五将(听、说、读、写、译)，相对来说，掌握英语单词是最难过的一关。英语的词汇量大，总词汇量至少在60万以上，实用词汇量为8干至1万，基本词汇量为4千。一般地说，掌握英语单词没有什么捷径可走，我总结了几种不同方法来记忆英语单词，和大家共讨： 1．逻辑记忆： 通过词的本身的内部逻辑关系，词与词之间的外部逻辑关系记忆单词。1)把几个字母看作—个来记如：(ight)light，right，6Sht，night，might，sight，tight。 2)外旧内新，如：bridge(桥)看成b+ridge ridge(山脊)；sharp看成s+harp harp(竖琴)。3)外新内旧，如：cleave (劈开)看成c+leave；tact(机智)看成t+act。 2．联想记忆： 1)音与形的联想，即根据读音规则记忆单词。2)形与义的联想，如：eye把两个e看成两个眼。banana把a看成一个个的香蕉。bird把b和d看成两个翅膀。3)象声词，联想实际的声音，如：gong锣、coo咕咕声。 3．分类记忆： 把单词进行分门类如：动物，植物等，进行分类记忆。你可以找一本分类字典作为参考。 4.形象记忆法 将你学过的单词尽量与实际的形象结合起来，例如你的学习工具、家具、大街上的景物，你在衣食住行中有意识地重现有关单词，假如你和老师、同学去春游，见到山、水、树、桥等，想想他们用英语怎么说，你会轻松记忆好这些单词。 5.理解记忆法 理解的东西最容易记住，这是因为理解的识记是以已有的知识经验为基础的，容易与被识记的新材料建立多层次、多角度的联系。如单词actress（女演员）是由actr+ess构成，而act相当于“做、行动”的意思（英文是doing），在它的后面加上女性名词的后缀 ess，便成了“女演员”了。又如，“赤道”之所以叫做equator，是因为它距地球的南极和北极距离相等，它与英文相等一词的拼写相近（equal）。 6.同义、近义与反义对比记忆法 将所学词按同义词和近义词串联起来记。如：see、look、watch；home、house、family；carry、take、bring； die、 dead、death等等。反义词对比法指的是将意思完全相反的词对比起来记忆，如：clever stupid、accept refuse、far near、ill well、especial ordinary、first last等等。目前中学课本从初一到高二有170多对反义词，占全部词汇量的9%。 7.多感觉记忆法 在记忆新的单词时，我们要充分调动我们的感官。心理学对记忆保持率的试验表明，如果只是用嘴念，过一段时间，只能记住10%；如果只用耳朵听，只能记忆 20%；如果只用眼睛看，只能记忆30%。但是，如果同时采用眼看、耳听、嘴说、手写，可保持记忆的70%。这种多感觉记忆法比单独用一种方法有效的多。 8.有意识记忆法 如果有人问你，你每天回家拐几个弯子，你家的楼梯有多少个台阶，你不一定能说清楚，但是一个盲人却能准确地答出来，因为对一个不得不出家门的盲人，要有意识地去记忆，而一般人对此却“熟视无睹”。同学们要记英语单词，就要进行有意识记忆，对遇到的'生词，要尝试背诵。对难度大的单词给予特别关注。 9.交叉记忆法 同学们课后背诵单词，应当与其它学科的学习交叉进行，或活动一下再记，这样不至于大脑专司语言的神经区域因疲劳而处于抑制状态。 8.全部记忆法与部分记忆法 对于初中生来说可用部分记忆法，如30个生词，分成三至五组记忆较好，对于高中生来讲，30个生词不妨一次全部背诵下来，当天巩固一遍，第二天再巩固一遍，这样反复直至全部记熟，效率也会提高。 9.构词记忆法 英语的构词法主要有转化、合成、派生三种。 a.转化指英语词类相互间变化。 如名词、动词、形容词、副词等可以相互转化。例如： back，名词是“后背”，形容词是“后面的”。 Break，动词是“打破”，名词是“课间的休息”。 time，名词是“时间”、“时刻”、“次数”、“倍数”，动词是“使……合时宜”、“给……安排时间”。 last，形容词是“最后的”、“最新的”、“过去”，副词是“末了”的意思，而动词则当“持续”讲，名词当“落后的人”或“最后的事情”讲。 hand，名词是“手”，动词是“传递”。 house，名词是“房子”，动词是“收容”。 fool，名词是“傻子”，动词是“愚弄”。 trade，名词是“贸易”，动词是“做买卖”。 b.合成指将两个或两个以上的词合成一个新词。例如： 合成名词：shopwindow橱窗，lifeboat救生艇，busdriver公共汽车司机。 合成动词：outclass远胜过，远超过，overeat食过量，overthrow推翻。 合成形容词：full-time全时，man-made人造的，light-hearted轻松的。 合成副词：nearby附近，wherever任何地方，maybe可能是。 合成代词：nobody无人，something某事，himself他自己。 c. 派生指在词根上加上前缀或后缀后构成新词。如：“over”有向上、越过、过渡、反转等意思，所以同学们可以把以下单词放在一起集中记忆： overmuch 过多、过渡 overcrowd 过度、拥挤 overcareful 过于谨慎的 overbuild 过多建造 overtime 加班加点 overwork 过度劳累 overdrink 过量饮酒 overseas 海外 overcoat 外套 overturn 倾倒 overfly 飞跃 overthrow 推翻overpopulation 人口过剩 “-ful”这个后缀可以加在名词之后构成一个新的名词，这个后缀的意思为“充满所需的量”。如： armful 一抱 handful 一把 glassful 一满杯 spoonful 一匙的量 mouthful 一口 bagful 一满袋 boxful 一满箱 houseful 满屋 dishful 一满盘 以上仅供学习英语记忆词汇很难的来参考，因材施教才是硬道理！！！！

英语中主要有以下三种构词法： 1)派生法 ( Derivation) 通过加词缀构成另一个单词。英语词缀分为前缀和后缀两种。 加前缀：possible“可能的adj.”→ impossible“不可能的adj.” 加后缀：happy “快乐的adj.”→ happiness “快乐n.”
