副词几乎的英文

程度副词用于表示程度，常见的有：

much，little，very，rather，so，too，quite，perfectly，enough，extremely，entirely，almost，slightly，fairly，a lot/bit/little，far，even，nearly，pretty，as，this/that，fully，absolutely，barely，completely，hardly，just，only，really，scarcely。

程度副词用法：

1、程度副词用在一般动词前。

如：I almost forgot to bring my key.我差点忘记带钥匙。

2、程度副词用在助动词与一般动词之间。

如：I could hardly believe it.我几乎不能相信它。

3、程度副词用在形容词或副词前，enough除外。

如：He is old enough to go to school.他够年龄，可以上学了。

4、程度副词much（…得多），even（更加）可在形容词或副词的比较级之前作修饰语。

如：This question is much more difficult than that one.这个问题比那个问题难多了。

as good as 译成中文“几乎...”很到位，这是因为英语中 as 形容词 as 是一个比较句式，所表达的就是“与...比不相上下”的意思。很多人会在这样的句式后面加一个 if not better（或者 more+形容词，如 if not more beautiful, if not easier 等等），意思是“不比......好的话，也不会差”。所以这种句式译成“几乎”既合乎中文习惯又不失英文原意。as……as 的用法：1. 形容词词组：作表语和后置定语： This book is as interesting as that one.（表语，其后的名词（词组）、代词与主语是同位比较） I have a book as interesting as yours.（后置定语，也可以解释为宾语补足语）2. 形容词词组+名词：作两个不同的名词比较之用： You could make as much money as [has] Bill Gates, if you are smart enough. Some animals have as much intelligence as [does] a child of six.3. 副词词组：修饰动词或说明句子状态： If you could run as fast as [does] Liu Xiang, you'd be famous, too.（人们习惯上会将 as 副词 as 后面的比较对象用省略句的倒装用在这种句式中。但是，现在也见有人不用省略倒装句，直接接上与主语同位比较名词。上面（2）例句中的省略同理。） as much/good/soon/fast... as possible：as 形容词/副词 as 后面的 possible 是固定用法，不能换成 possibly。这是因为这个句式中 possible 表达的是 it is possible 的意思。只要是用这个句式比较的内容都可以后面加 possible 来用。注意：此处的 possible 不能用 probable 替换，因为人们约定俗成不这么用。我的理解是，尽管它们译成中文时都可以用“可能”，但英文的 probable 含“几率”、“概率”的数学意思，不如 possible 在主观判断中那么直接、明了。
