公章是指机关、团体、企事业单位使用的印章。

任何单位公章的使用，必须严格遵守领导批准制度。即每次使用单位公章都必须由单位法定代表人批准同意，若单位法定代表人外出或因其他重要任务不能批准使用，也必须由单位法定代表人授权副职等合适人员批准使用。具体经管人员不得擅自使用单位公章办理任何事情。

财务章，即财务专用章，是各单位办理单位会计核算和银行结算业务时使用的专用章，会计中心为各单位统一刻制了冠有单位名称和“会计中心(序号)”字样的财务专用章，并经单位领导授权后使用。

单位原有的财务专用章限用于内部财务管理，但不得用于银行结算。

4、合同章：contract seal、Contract charter。

在合同上加盖合同专用章是指合同当事人经过协商，在达成的书面合同上各自加盖本公司的合同专用印章的行为  。根据《中华人民共和国合同法》第32条明确规定：当事人采用合同书形式订立合同的，自双方当事人签字或者盖章时成立。
