英语年月日写法

英语的年月日表示方法

1、年份关于四位数年份的读法有下列几种情形：

(1) 一般情况下，将表示年份的四个数字按前后分为两组，每一组的数字都按基数词来读。1865年读作 eighteen sixty-five1998年读作 nineteen ninety-eight

(2) 如果是整百的年，后面的两个“零”读为 hundred。1900年读作 nineteen hundred1800年读作 eighteen hundred

(3) 十位数字上为“零”，该“零”读为字母 O 的发音。1809年读作 eighteen O nine

(4) 关于千年的一些读法。2000年读作 two thousand2008年读作 two thousand and eight 或 O eight1008年读作 one thousand and eight

(5) 三位以内数字的年份，一般是按照基数词的方法来读。531 BC 读作 five hundred (and) thirty-one BC2、日期日期的写法可以采用基数词和序数词两种形式。例如： March 1也可以写成March 1st;May 29也可以写成May 29th。但是，日期的读法只能用序数词的形式。例如：October 31(October 31st)读作October(the)thirty-firstAugust 26(August 26th)读作August(the)twenty-sixth

注意：通常情况下，the 是不读出来的。

(1) 朗读方面 在朗读时，"月份"一般直接用英语读出;"日"则要读成"the 序数词";年份，一 般分为两个单位来读， 前两个数为一个单位， 后两个数为一个单位。 1982 年读作 nineteen eighty-two, 1900 年读作 nineteen hundred。如果是三位数，先读第一位，再把后两个数 合起来读。如：984 年可读为 nine eighty-four,757 年读成 seven fifty-seven。 另外，像 2000 年一般读成 two thousand, 2001 年则读成 two thousand and one,以此类推，2004 年应读成 two thousand and four 或者 two thousand four (通常情况下“and”不读出来)。 January 12th, 1993 读成 January (the) twelfth, nineteen ninety-three。

(2)书写方面 先看下面的两个例子：1. 1986 年 10 月 23 日→October 23, 1986/October 23rd, 19862. 2002 年 1 月 17 日→January 17, 2002/January 17th, 20023、英美时间表达之不同日期的表示法英国和美国稍有不同，英国通常表示为“日—月—年”，美国通常表示为“月—日—年”。如“10月10日”可表示为 October 10, 1985(美)或10(th) October, 1985(英)。注意：最好避免把整个日期都写成数字, 这在英美语中表示的含义并不相同：如“2. 7. 97”、“2-7-97”、“2/7/97”这类表达，在美国英语中表示“1997年2月7日”，而在英国英语中则表示“1997年7月2日”。

2英语日期的表示法

英语中月份和星期名称都是专有名词,它们的首字母必须大写,并且前面无需用冠词。

用英语表示日期,其顺序为月+日+年,日和年之间需用逗号隔开。如:August

2nd,2003(2003年8月2日)。也可以用日+月+年来表示。如:10th

May,2003(2003年5月10日)。英语日期前介词的使用:若指在哪一年或哪一月,则用介词in,若具体到某一天,则需用介词on。如:

①She was born in 1989

②She was born in August.

③She was born in August 1989.

④She was born on 2nd August, 1989.

3英文数字、日期表达方式

first 第一、second第二、third第三、fourth第四、fifth第五、sixth第六、seventh第七、eighth第八、ninth第九、tenth第十、eleventh第十一、twelfth第十二、thirteenth第十三、fourteenth第十四、twentieth第二十、thirtieth第三十。

这种第几的排序表达方式有时候就用在日期的上面，写一个阿拉伯数字，右上方再写一个英语第几的最后两个字母。读法如上图，其实只有1~3数字排序的最后两个字母是有变化的，而4以后都是th结尾，所以只要记住first 第一→末尾分别是st、second第二→nd、third第三→rd，而4以后都只要写th即可。

月份：

January一月、February二月、March三月、April 四月、May五月、June六月、July七月、August八月、September九月、October十月、November十一月、December十二月。

星期：

Monday星期一、Tuesday星期二、Wednesday星期三、Thursday星期四、Friday星期五、Saturday星期六、Sunday星期日。weekend 周末、weekday工作日、day日、week星期、month月、year年。

4英美在日期数字方面的不同表达方式

在日期方面，美英的表达方式是有差别的。

以日为先，月份为后，此为英国式，美国式则与此相反。如一九九六年三月二日的写法：

2nd March, 1996(英)

March 2, 1996(美)

在美式的写法中，1st, 2nd, 3rd的st, nd, rd是不使用的。

由于日期书面表达不同，读法也不一样。

如：1987年4月20日，英式的写法是20th April, 1987，读成the twentieth of April, nineteen eighty-seven;美式的表达是April 20, 1987，则读成April the twentieth, nineteen eighty-seven。

同样，全部用数字表达日期时，英美也有差别。

如：1998年5月6日按照英国式应写成6/5/98，而按照美国式应写成5/6/98;01.08.1998是英国式的1998年8月1日，按照美国的表达方式却是1998年1月8日，美国的1998年8月1日应写成08，01，1998。因此，全部使用数字来表示日期时，往往发生误解，在商务活动中必须谨慎使用。

表达百万以上的数字概念英美的差别甚大，如one billion英语指的是"万亿""兆"，而美语则只"十亿";one trillion英语相当于million million million=1018,是百万兆，在美语里却相当于英国英语的one billion，是"万亿"、"兆"。

在数字口头表达方面，两国也存在着差别。$175(175美元)英语读成a(one) hundred and seventy five dollars，美语读成one hundred seventy five dollars，常省略and;表达连续同样数字的号码时，英语习惯用double或triple，美语一般不这样用，如电话号码320112，英语读成three two zero, double one two，美语则读成three two zero one one two, 999234英语读成nine double nine (triple nine) two three four，美语则读成nine nine nine two three four，不过美国人也把连续三个相同的号码读成three 加上这个数字的复数形式，如999读成three nines.

用英语表达年月日的顺序：

1、月\日\年。

例：2002年1月17日。

写作：January 17(th), 2002或January seventeenth, 2002（日和年之间需用逗号隔开）。

读作：January the seventeenth, two thousand and two。

2、日\月\年。

例：2002年1月17日。

写作：17(th) January, 2002或the seventeenth of January, 2002（月和年之间需用逗号隔开）。

读作：the seventeenth of January, two thousand and two。

二、日期书写：

用序数词表示：

例：十月一日 写作：October 1, October 1st, 1 October, 1st October, (the) 1st of October等，其中的October都可以写成缩写形式Oct。

读作：October the first或the first of October。

时间点的表达：

1、所有的时间都可以用“小时 + 分钟”直接读：

6:10 six ten。

8:30 eight thirty。

2:40 two forty。

2、如果所表述的时间在半小时之内，可以用“分钟 + past + 小时”：

6:10 ten past six。

4:20 twenty past four。

10:25 twenty-five past ten。

3、如果所表述的时间在半小时之外，可以用“（相差的）分钟 + to + （下一）小时”：

10:35 twenty-five to eleven。

5:50 ten to six。

9:49 eleven to ten。
