Dear Lin, Thank you for your letter. The reason I missing from school for so long was because I had a really nasty accident. I was knocked down by a bus two months ago when I was on my way to school. I was lucky to be alive. it could had been a lot worse. My bicycle was completely destroyed but I was knocked off the road and survived with many broken bones, and spent 6 weeks in hospital. Now I am still in clutches. Although I don't feel the pain any more,I am going to have problems for missing school for so long. I am getting really worry about the coming exams in a couple of months time. When I get back (which hopefully in another few more weeks time) that I hope you could help me with all the lessons, which I have missed. Would you mind doing that? We have been school mate for so long, you are my only hope that I can catch up with my school work. I am really looking forward to both going back and seeing you again.
