N: 代表北方 (North)
S: 代表南方 (South)
E: 代表东方 (East)
W:代表西方 (West)
在翻译中，如果要翻译东南西北， 可以直接翻译成 east and west， north and south。
另外还有: northeast 东北 ，northwest 西北， southeast 东南 ，southwest 西南
注意：英语和汉语一样，都有表示东西南北的专用词，但如果不是这四个方向时，表达方式就不一样了，汉语表示其他方向永远都是“东，西”开头，而英语表达其他方向时永远都是‘北，南’方向开头，例如：
汉语：东北（注意：是‘东’在前，‘北’在后）
英语：northeast （注意：是‘north’在前，‘east’在后）
