A Day to Remember

I still remember the first day I went to the zoo. When I was only five years old, my mother took me there. I was pleased to see so many real animals at the same time. They seemed so lovely and active. I spent a nice day. But on my way home, I began to feel sorry for them.

They were taken away from their parents and friends and also far away from the nature. They must have felt lonely, I thought. Every day, the only thing they could do was to sit there and wait for food.

难忘的一天

我仍然记得第一次去动物园的那一天。5岁那年，妈妈带我去动物园。我很高兴能同时看见那么多活灵活现的动物，他们看上去又活泼又可爱。我度过了快乐的一天。可是在我回家的路上，我开始替它们难过起来。人们把它们从父母和朋友身边捉走，它们一定感觉很孤单，我想。它们每天惟一可做的事就是等着人们来喂食。

语、数、英三门里我最拿不下的就是英语，可以说我在英语这方面是个白痴。单词背不下来、记忆力差、可能这个单词刚默过转眼就忘了。

虽然，现在有杨老师在帮我，可每当中午要去背时，总是不想背，有几次都拿起书要去办公室，可总是迈不起那一步。每当周围的同学拿到好分数时，就感到自己好没用，杨老师也鼓励过我。可我总提不起信心。每当说到英语我总是很回避。英语就像一只无形的大手压得我喘不过气。想挣脱这只大手，可每每都中途放弃。我知道英语不难学，可我总过不了这一关。杨老师曾问过我为什学不好？我没回答应为我不知道，记不住单词？是一个，但不是最主要的，最主要的是我自己坚持不下去。有可能有人觉得我找借口，但这些都是我的真心话。绝无作假。不过。我会加油的，连语文我都拿下了，跟何况英语呢！都说中文是最难的，最多变的。我是中国人，最难的语言我们都会，跟何况英语呢！这篇文章不仅送给我自己，也送给跟我同样英语不好的'同学希望你们加油把英语学好，我也会加油的。才不会给中国人丢脸。

How time flies! My three-year middle school life will be over soon.

Health is far more important than wealth.

Good health enables us to do what we want to do in our career. But bad health gives nothing. Even though you have little money, you can still live a happy life with a healthy body.
